The concept behind this site is to preserve official Atari documents. Those pertaining to the Atari ST line of computers. Since Atari (as we know it) is gone there isn't any way to obtain all of these documents. Some of them, but not all, are available on various sites scattered on the internet.
Back in the day Atari offered their Developers Kit to the general public. After Atari bit the dust the only source for a devkit was eBay. I decided to share my devkit on the internet, thus the site was born. The original intent was to host just the official Atari DevKit. However, it has been expanded to host pretty much anything that will help promote a comfortable programming environment. This includes, programming packages, libraries, source code, manuals, drivers, desktops, schematics, service guides, data sheets, ect.
The quality of the documents vary and they are presented as is. They may contain errors, typos, appear blurry, and/or any number of other anomalies. If you happen to have a better quality version or a more up-to-date version of a document, by all means send it to me. If you happen to have original documents in hardcopy form that are older, please don't throw them out before contacting me.
Use the 'Search' option if looking for something not in a predefined category.
The search feature is very simple and case-insensitive.
It searchs letter for letter, including spaces, for exactly what is entered.
Filenames and the contents of files are not searchable.
Most of the PDF documents contain scanned images.
Text based PDF files are normally compressed to reduce disk space.
External links may be constructed like so: https://www.dev-docs.org/docs/htm/search.php?find=gfa
The above example will search for 'gfa'.
English is assumed unless otherwise noted.
Some file types can be inspected or previewed online:
Preview: TXT, JPG, PNG, GIF Contents: TGZ, ZIP, TBZ2 Metadata: ISO, HYP, PDF
